Refund Policy

Overview

Because all KB Gifts n' Sweets products are handcrafted to order using fresh ingredients, we have a limited refund policy. Every item is custom-made specifically for your order, which means ingredients are purchased, and preparation begins well in advance of your event date.

Deposits

A deposit is required to secure your order date. The deposit amount varies depending on the size and complexity of your order and will be communicated in your custom quote.

  • Deposits are non-refundable once the order is confirmed, as ingredients and preparation time are allocated immediately.

  • The remaining balance is due before or at the time of pickup/delivery.

Cancellations

I understand that plans can change. Here's how cancellations are handled:

  • More than 2 weeks before your event: You may cancel your order. The deposit is non-refundable, but no additional charges will apply.

  • Less than 2 weeks before your event: Cancellations are not eligible for any refund, as ingredients have likely been purchased and preparation may have begun.

  • Less than 1 week before your event: The full order amount is non-refundable.

Order Modifications

Need to make changes to your order? I'm happy to accommodate modifications when possible:

  • More than 2 weeks before your event: Most changes to flavours, colours, and design details can be made at no extra cost (depending on complexity).

  • Less than 2 weeks before your event: Changes may be limited depending on whether ingredients have already been purchased. Additional charges may apply for significant modifications.

  • Date changes: Rescheduling is subject to availability. Please contact me as soon as possible if your event date changes.

Quality Guarantee

Your satisfaction is incredibly important to me. Every order is made with fresh, quality ingredients and decorated with care. If there is a genuine quality issue with your order (e.g., the wrong flavour was made, or there is a significant defect), please contact me within 24 hours of pickup or delivery with photos, and I will work with you to make it right.

Please note that minor variations in colour, texture, and design are normal for handcrafted products and are not considered defects. Inspiration photos are used as a guide, but each creation is unique.

No-Show / Failed Pickup

If you do not pick up your order at the scheduled time and do not contact me to reschedule, the order will be considered fulfilled and no refund will be issued. Please communicate any changes to your pickup time at least 24 hours in advance.
